JK Rowling designed "The Wizarding World" and it's events to roughly parallel what happened in the regular muggle world, and thus have similar attitudes and demographics. While people are fixated on the gender issues because of a lot of misinformation about some of JK Rowling's beliefs, and her somewhat flippant attitude when dealing with Twitter Mobs who she increasingly refuses to respect, don't forget there are some other issues with this game, and weirdly a lot of the problems aren't coming from who you think.įor example it should be noted that this game takes place during the butt-end of the 1890s which is hardly a progressive time. If you wanted to change gender you probably could and would be around a group that is more tolerant(unless you're a house elf) of different types of beings. This is a work of fiction with magic and mythological creatures that are accepted by the magical community in the story.
